Cracking Med School Admissions LP (“CASPer Edge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates casperedge.com and app.casperedge.com (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide to Us

  • Contact form submissions: name, email address, phone number (optional), year applying, subject, and message content.
  • Account registration and purchases: name, email address, password, and billing information when you create an account or purchase access through app.casperedge.com.
  • Practice responses: the typed and/or video/audio responses you submit while using the Course, Scenario Bank, or Practice Tests, along with the AI-generated feedback and scores associated with them.
  • Correspondence: any information you provide when you email us directly (e.g., hello@casperedge.com) or otherwise communicate with us.


b. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked, and referring/exit pages
  • Approximate geographic location (derived from IP address)


We use the following tools to collect this information:

  • Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager — site usage and traffic analytics
  • Meta Pixel — advertising measurement and retargeting for Facebook/Instagram ads


c. Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. Payment processing is governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy and security practices, which we encourage you to review.


2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including grading and generating personalized feedback on your practice responses
  • Create and manage your account and process purchases
  • Respond to questions and requests submitted through our contact form or via email
  • Send transactional communications (e.g., purchase confirmations, account notices)
  • Send marketing communications about CASPer Edge and related offerings, where you have not opted out
  • Analyze usage trends to improve our content, pricing, and user experience
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or misuse of the Services
  • Comply with legal obligations


We do not sell your personal information to third parties.


3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember your preferences, measure site performance, and deliver relevant advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect site functionality. Where required, we will request your consent to non-essential cookies via an on-site banner.


4. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with:

  • Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting, payment processing (Stripe), email/SMS delivery, and analytics (e.g., the analytics/advertising tools listed in Section 1(b))
  • Legal and safety purposes, where required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CASPer Edge, our users, or others
  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction


We require service providers who process personal information on our behalf to protect it consistently with this policy.


5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Practice responses and feedback history are generally retained for the duration of your account so you can track improvement over time. You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described in Section 6.


6. Your Privacy Rights

General Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time (via the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly)

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, request deletion of that information, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (as those terms are defined under California law). We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. To the extent our use of advertising pixels (e.g., Meta Pixel) constitutes “sharing” under the CPRA, you may opt out by contacting us at hello@casperedge.com or adjusting your cookie preferences.

International Visitors

Our Services are hosted in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., including from Canada or elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have data protection laws different from those of your country.


7. Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for individuals applying to medical school, graduate, or professional programs and are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.


8. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


9. Third-Party Links

Our site and blog content may contain links to third-party websites (including medical school admissions pages and other resources). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.
